SSP in double pump execution has been engineered to bridge this gap without compromising performance, since allows motor and drive to be reduced by at least one size, in some cases even two sizes. This always results in a reduction of the overall servopump cost, by keeping unchanged the energy efficiency level respect the SSP in single pump execution. The double pump execution allows to use both internal gear pumps in tandem during high flow phases and to use only one pump during high pressure phases, venting the other one.
